This, and the fact that the article also states that “80 percent of U.S. families did not buy or read a book last year” make me positively ashamed. Especially because I’ve only now realized that it’s absolutely true for my dad, two of my brothers, most of my uncles, and my cousins. READ. Read, read, read.  Read because it’s fun. Read because it’s good for you. Read because it expands your mind. Just read. You shouldn’t need a reason.
